ICT Mumbai library contains more than 75000 books and journals to support the academics. Engineering is incomplete without hostel life. It has two separate hostels for boys and 2 for girls. Mess facility is also provided in the hostel. The guest room facility is available for parents of students at affordable rates. It is equipped with all the facilities.

ICT conducts various fests and events to engage students in different kinds of activities apart from academics. These fests are organized by students which helps them having experience in managing such huge events.

The annual inter-college cultural festival, Manzar has a plethora of programs, specifically concerts and workshops that serve to enrich the cultural aspect of the institute. The is an intra-institute college fest called ‘FunTech’ which involves various cultural and sports events for the college students. Sport Saga is the annual inter-college sports festival where students of various colleges in and around Mumbai participate. There is an entrepreneurship cell(E-Cell) in the college to enhance the entrepreneurial culture of the college.

Graduates from this institute are considered best in the chemical industry and their salaries rank among the highest in the country, even surpassing the salaries of graduates of the premier branded institutes. Salaries of the placed students range from Rs. 3.50 to Rs 14.00 lakhs per annum.

With regard to post-graduate research opportunities, a good number of students are offered admission by some of the world’s best universities to pursue further studies.

All 3rd year UG students of B. Chem. Engg., B.Tech. and B. Pharma undergo 6 weeks in-plant industrial training in various industries. In the academic year 2018-2019, they were placed in about 120 different industries.

All masters students of MTech., M.E., and M.Sc. (Science) undergo an Industrial internship from two-six months. In the academic year 2019-20, master’s students were placed in about 100 different industries for industrial internship program.

Top Companies recruiting from ICT include Mario, Ganesh Cosmetic, Kedia Organic Petrofac, Bharat Petroleum, Cadbury, Reliance, L&T, Glenmark, Coca Cola, Sun Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, Asian paints and Croda.

UDCT has given many great personalities, entrepreneurs to the nation. Two ICT engineers Raghunath Mashelkar and Man Mohan Sharma have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society(FRS) -they are the only Indians to achieve this feat.

Few notable Alumni include:
